CryoLife, Inc. Appoints David Ashley Lee Chief Financial Officer

ATLANTA, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Steven G. Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer, CryoLife, Inc. (NYSE: CRY), today announced the appointment of David Ashley Lee, 35, as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of CryoLife, Inc. Mr. Lee has served as CryoLife's Controller since 1994.

Prior to joining CryoLife, Inc., Mr. Lee was Director of Finance at Compass Retail, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Equitable Real Estate. Mr. Lee was also an audit manager with Ernst & Young for seven years, 1987-1993. He holds a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Mississippi and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Anderson noted that, "Over the past six years, Mr. Lee has displayed outstanding abilities in corporate finance and is well positioned for his new responsibilities. His appointment is also in keeping with Company policy to promote capable individuals from within."

Mr. Lee succeeds Edwin B. Cordell, Jr., who resigned the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to pursue other career opportunities.
